Inquiry (Science) - Change
The 3 states of matter are:
- Liquid (e.g Water)
- Solid (e.g. Ice)
- Gas (e.g. air)
- Liquid is something that can be poured like water. The particles (parts of water) in the water keep on moving side to side and up and down.
- Solid is something that is stiff and not that easy to break. The particles (parts of solid) are stiff and organized into straight lines and not moving.
- Gas is technically the air we breathe in and out. The particles (parts of gas) are scattered all around the place.
